The Weekend #2

Lots of things were happening this past week and I ended up getting a four day weekend to celebrate Valentine’s Day with the other half and the birthday with the actual other half (the twin sister). Valentine’s Day was lovely the boy made me a card with his computer programing bare hands and I made him spaghetti. That was Thursday, on Friday my sister and some of her friends went out to celebrate her birthday so I tagged along. Saturday was spend being lazing and setting up my birthday present from the boy, a new and better computer so I can work more on the blog. And finally Sunday, we had a family lunch to celebrate our birthday, yummy food was ate and stretchy pants were needed.

Weekend outfits

Here are a couple of the outfits I wore this weekend. What I learned, I don’t like colour and leather details are a must.

Valentine's weekend face of the day

{the makeup I wore for Valentine’s Day}

This is what I put on my face for my Valentine’s date. Nothing particularly fascinating but I did wear eyeshadow, which I never do. And I wore lipstick, not the one pictured thought because I changed my mind. And I wore a different blush, this Lancome elephant powder, I didn’t like it, should have stayed with the usual.

This is the makeup I wore out on Friday night. It’s the usual, no experimenting here.

red velvet cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberrys

{the birthday cake}

This is what my sister and I wanted for our birthday cake. The other sister works at a bakery so we exploit her for these red velvet cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberry’s every year on our birthday (and when I say on our birthday I mean anytime during the year when she comes to visit us).

So there you have it, my weekend in a nutshell. Next weekend is the boy’s birthday so no end in sight for the celebrations.

P.s.

Just in case you were wondering, the older sister does not simple work at a bakery, but rather cake is her preferred medium.

Jean Paul Gaultier Bustier Cake

{See I told you so, not exactly just a cake}
